The scenario universe.
The website's four interactive scenarios rehearse one fictional night — a provider failure, a merchant change, an evidence challenge and a pilot boundary — using the same decision discipline this manual describes.
One fictional night, four chapters
All scenarios share a single synthetic universe: marketplace tenant Aster Market (DEMO-TENANT-ASTER), merchant Lumen Digital (MER-DEMO-204), providers PSP-A and PSP-B, and decision records such as DR-DEMO-0317. Every identifier carries a DEMO marker. No customer, provider, transaction or regulator interaction is represented.
- 03:17 — The Continuity Room: a bounded routing decision under provider failure (record DR-DEMO-0317).
- 09:00 — One Merchant, Five Realities: five functions govern one change over one fixed fact set (DR-DEMO-MERCHANT-084).
- 14:00 — Proof Lab: six control tests against a sandbox copy of the continuity record; the original never changes.
- Day 90 — Control Map: enumerated, non-personal selections compose a non-binding 90-day pilot outline (PILOT-DEMO-90D).
What the scenarios demonstrate
The scenarios exercise the same spine as the product documentation: capture, govern, decide, challenge, prove. They show how a posture, a mandatory boundary, a distinct checker and an inspectable artifact belong to one decision — and how refused or held work remains visible instead of disappearing.
Counts such as 320, 200, 72 and 48 are narrative fixtures that always total consistently. They are not throughput, conversion, uptime or approval-rate claims, and they are not forecasts.
What they deliberately do not prove
- No live provider connection, automatic failover or production routing is demonstrated.
- No audit, assurance opinion, certification or regulator acceptance is established.
- Module participation frames are conceptual; registry status ui is an observed surface, not general availability.
- The visitor dossier and pilot outline are compiled locally in the browser; nothing is submitted or stored.
Where they hand over to this manual
Each scenario links its participating modules to the module chapters of this manual, its evidence vocabulary to the Evidence chapter, and its pilot outline to the 90-day pilot page. Use the scenarios to feel the discipline; use this manual to verify the surfaces behind it.
